Classically trained in the foothills of the Catskill Mountains, Ben Owens climbed the trails and carved his name into the same rocks that Hudson River School Legends opened the eyes to talent afar.
His paintings have graced the walls of cafes, galleries, museums and private collections. He has won numerous art contest including those held by Mark Ryden, Peter Max, JUXTAPOZ Magazine, Jonathan Levine, Parlor Gallery and many more.
His work was featured in JUXTAPOZ Magazine, back when “Pop Surrealism” was called LOWBROW ART. graffiti was illegal and stencils were left for grandmas kitchen.
